What is it?
The weekend away is for everyone at St Clement’s. We will be staying at The Quinta Centre in Shropshire, where we've stayed the past couple of years. It will be a great weekend of getting to know God better, as well as each other. There will be teaching sessions, free time and Saturday evening entertainment! All meals are provided; from dinner on the Friday through to Sunday lunch.
Our four teaching sessions will be led by Tim Wickham who will be talking to us on Malachi. The talks will be clear enough for someone who is unfamiliar with the Bible, while providing nourishing spiritual food for those who have been going longer in the Christian life. There will also be opportunities to discuss the talks in small groups and a question time to answer any questions that arise.
There will be a small bookstall with highly discounted books which will help you continue to think through some of the themes raised throughout the weekend.
How long is it for?
2 days; from Friday 2nd to Sunday 4th February.
People can arrive anytime from 3pm on the Friday (children’s tea will be at 5.30pm and adult’s tea at 7.30pm). On the Sunday, we will be leaving after lunch and clear up. We must be out of Quinta by 3pm latest.
