Care at St Clement's

John 15:12
Jesus said, "This is my commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you."

As a church family we all have the privilege and responsibility of loving and caring for one another well. And we are so thankful for all the ways this is happening at St Clement's. As a growing church, however, we want to ensure that anyone and everyone can easily access the care they might need as well as being aware of how we can be supporting one another. That's why we have a small team of 'Care Coordinators' who exist to support, pray for, connect, resource and equip our church family as we seek to love one another as Christ loves us.

If you find yourself in need of care or support, or know someone else who does, Henry Alexander, our Assistant Minister, and his wife, Beth, would love to hear from you! Please get in touch at care@stclementschurchmanchester.org

Here are some of the ways we can help

  • Practical care: looking out for each other’s physical needs. This could include a provision of home-cooked meals, getting a lift to church or food parcels.
  • Visiting: keeping our church family connected, especially those who are unable to leave their house.
  • One-to-one Discipleship: helping each other grow as Christians by meeting with another believer to read, share and pray together.
  • Counselling: providing a safe place to talk through the hard issues of life with an experienced helper.
  • Hardship fund: providing support for those who are struggling financially.
  • Support teams: putting together a group of people to support and care for those who are struggling to care for themselves.
